Instructional Design
STT Trainer offers advanced learning techniques to engage the learner and increase knowledge retention.
The training material generated by STT Trainer is more retentive compared to traditional e-learning solutions that use a single command inside a bubble to instruct and assess users. The unique STT Trainer approach presents all instructions for a given screen at the same time. Through this approach, learners fully understand their progress through each screen.
STT Trainer supports the theory that placing learning elements in the context of actual usage increases learning and improves retention.
STT Trainer simulations offer dynamic learning events that immerse learners by letting them perform tasks and experience results just like in a live environment. This hands-on training approach engages learners throughout each lesson and lets them better retain the learned content.
Learning about software applications shouldn’t be a hide-and-seek game. Complex applications with over 100 icons have a steep learning curve. To help learners find relevant interaction spots quickly, the STT Trainer instruction box offers a laser beam. When activated, it lights up to lead the eye to the interaction spot. This helps learners to find the icon faster, but still requires learners to select it by themselves.
STT Trainer shows learners how the screen looks at any given moment in the task. When learners click or interact in the correct area, the simulation behaves in the same way as the live application. However, if learners click in the wrong area, they will immediately get a notification that the action was incorrect. STT Trainer encourages learners to learn correct paths and supports multiple paths when dictated by the task or topic.
